These great doors were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian. They were originally part of a built in armoire. They are made of walnut and are painted. One has its original beveled mirror and the other is missing. Above the mirrors are carved flowers and a shelf trimmed in dentil molding.
The mirrors are framed in raised molding with ornate beadwork. 1 of the hinges will need to be replaced. Each measures 29.75 inches wide, 67 tall and just over 1 inch thick. Overall they are in good condition.
Scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. One of the doors has a crack where a hinge is located. Please look at the pictures carefully. Please inquire with your zip code and I will get you a quote quickly. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse.
The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
